Secret that take your site to great

It may seem like something everyone should know, but the funny this is - most people don't. It is the whole basis of your website. It is what keeps it going everyday, like the heart in the Human Body. It is... Your WEB HOSTING COMPANY!
I know, I know. Not so much a 'secret' you say. Well, that may be true, but the true secret is using the RIGHT web hosting company for your needs. Let me go into this a little more.
I am sure most of you have searched online for "free" web hosting. The results are actually very minimal. There aren't many companies who are willing to host your website for free, and when they do they only provide you with a certain 'type' of domain name.  The problem with these kinds of sites is that they are basically screaming to everyone who visits you, that you are using a free web hosting company.
If you are trying to sell something, this can be a problem. Why would someone want to buy from you? Why should they trust someone who can't even afford proper hosting? What does this say about your product? Clearly people aren't buying it, or you wouldn't be using free hosting, right?
If you are going to go the route of Free Web hosting, I would suggest you pony up enough money to at least purchase a decent domain name for a year or two. I have found many for around the $4/year range. Worth it just to have a good, catchy, and regular looking domain.
Now, if you are going to use a hosting company that DOESN'T limit your usage, then I would suggest looking for discounts, coupons, etc online. Web Hosting is VERY competitive these days. Many well known companies are throwing in freebies, like free Google, Yahoo, etc., advertising credits, unlimited hosting, domain names for life, Sub-domains, etc.
Also, be sure to find one that will install website software for you, like Word Press, etc. If they don't offer these incentives, move on to the next site that does.
Check out the site I created (yes, I used a "Free" Web hosting and domain name so you can check out how basic it looks for yourself) below for some recommended Hosting Companies.
